Ways to make money

There are several different ways anyone can make money:
  • If you have money to start off you can buy/resell. This takes time but you can make a lot of profit. If you see something really cheap then you should buy it and resell for higher. 15M Spros could easily resell for 20+M each. Make sure to know your prices before you want to try and resell.
  • If you have real money you can buy gPotatos. If Gpots are going for 50m/100 and you buy 2000 worth of Gpots you could easily convert that to 1Bil+ penya. Just buy the hot stuff (sales) in the cash shop and sell them in game.
  • Farm events. Especially events that drop boxes or anything of value like Roanin boxes or Mysterious Bags. 15-20M per box! So you could spend your time taking advantage of that.
  • Giant hunt/Dungeon hunt! From nub giant to pro giants you can make a few mils/bils off of them if they drop green weapons/jewels. Giants now drop 3Mil penya sacks with just lucky drop.
  • Kill Clockworks every 48 hours!
  • Box run in normal/cursed Aminus. Can get you A/7% cards if you are lucky. Requires a higher level character to run it though.
  • You could also awaken vagrant parts and sell them. The better the awake the higher the price!
  • Raise and sell pets.
  • Collect with your character for diamonds pieces and lightning pieces 7%.
  • I suppose you could also do certain quests too.
  • Beg rich people for 1-10Mil each.
There are other ways to make cash but these are just some ideas! Money doesn't come to you right away you gotta work for it!

130+ Training

Once you're done leveling in Traseia there won't be any other premium places you can train and you'll have to go to the Grasslands (Kaillun). This is the best place to train when you become your third job. The mobs here have more than the average block then what you are used to and it's pretty hard to land a hit if you are 1v1ing. They also hit 4-10k damage on you from normal to rage mode. I prefer any job at this rate to go AOE instead of 1v1. It's faster and it'll save you a lot of time. What you need is some decent block gear and decent damage. If you manage to block the mobs then they will only hit you about 500. My blade is full STA and he can still do 30k AOE dmg with redscroll and upcut. But in this case I have my own tanker so I can input more attack gear on my blade. Also when you are aoeing make sure to have plenty of red mantis with you because they will suck your hp down quite fast. I'm pretty sure most classes can tank on their own if they go full STA. Just have a +8 set or higher and good block. 70k+ hp should be enough for you. Then you can pretty much cs and output dmg. 17-20k aoe dmg is good. Or if you want you can go with a 1v1 build with enough hp to survive and good damage. Do whatever works best with your equips because not everyone is rich or funded equally ;D
You can train at the Grasslands to about 135-137 and then move to Bahara Desert. The desert is a bit harder but you just have to find a good spawn and get used to it.

My Opinion

I do believe Flyff is dying and it probably will lose a lot of players. They continue to keep on releasing cash shop items and even adding overpowered things as well. This source is mainly towards people who buy Gpots and cs. It's not equal for those who don't spend money on the game. The events are not pointed to everyone. It's just for them to make a profit off of those who can afford to waste their money. There's nothing that the free to play players can do and it's not fair. It is a free to play game and it should be like that. There shouldn't be events where people have to spend their money (a lot of it) just to get one single set of jewels and it's soul-linked. They spent about 6-8 hours on maintenance for this event and they haven't even fixed the issues in the game. They continue to create problems and never fix them. I really do not like the "whoever spends the most Gpots gets so and so". That's just BS. What about people who don't even spend a penny? What do they get? If it continues to be like this then the game will become private server status. It kinda already is but in the previous years they didn't have so much events and nonsense. They seriously need to rethink their strategy here and think about the community as a whole. Why not implement Qamps or anything like this from the start? It's just a way to earn money for them and create hell for us. I do enjoy Flyff's community and I've made plenty of good friends but this game has taken a major downshift. There are too many issues right now and it's quite stressing. In summary, they should actually listen to the people and actually implement better events, which everyone can enjoy. Not making people spend 500+ bucks.

My Blade Guide

From nub to hero!
I started my blade back in 06 and now I have two blades. 1v1 blades can make you a lot of money from farming boxes and events. First get vigor rings/ demol rings at +9 or higher or a champ set if you are funded. At the early levels you can use nub gear with decent awakes on it. Nub helm with str, dex, or sta is fine. Anything over 15+ awakes is good. For your suit you don't need ICD (adoch) early on. You should get the same awakes as your helm. For your gloves ATK speed is good. You won't have max ATK speed so try getting some nice awakes on it. For your boots you can get whatever. ICD/Speed is fine. Also get a nub sword/shield with decent awakes as well. Try getting atk speed and enough dex so you won't miss a lot when you hit. Dex is good early on because you probably don't have a +8 set, which gives hit%. The Dragon Cloak (320 ATK) is pretty good early on or anything that you like with speed.
For levels 1-60 you can basically use this set to level and go full STR. You won't miss much if you have enough dex and maxed buffs. If you have a ringmaster then use it to your advantage for buffs. If not then use the buff pang.
At level 60 you can use the Recorn/Rescorn set. It gives atk speed/hp which is good. Don't spend too much money on it. +3 set is good enough and add two Detra swords in as well. Fastest way to level is to kill things in your range and use your vagrant to leech with a RM outside of the party. Or you can always get plvled but that's if you have good friends. Make sure to farm events and make money off of it to buy better stuff once you get higher level. Best place to train now is in Azria. Start at the Yetti's and move your way up to 75.
You can use the level 60 set all the way up to level 90/105. If you want you can use the new v18 weapons since they are cheap to buy. Use the one with more CRIT.
At level 90 or 105 you can choose to invest money in a +8/+10 set. It can either be 16 or 28% atk depending on how much money you have. The 90 set is good for crits early on because it gives 15% extra. The 105 set is good for hp/blocks but it doesn't give crit. It's more of a 1v1 PVP set. Or you can get the 120 Bloody set, which gives hp/crit/str, but no blocks. You should go for the bloody set if you are pure PVM damage dealer. So you can take your pick for which set you want to use. Bloody set beats both 105/90 set but the 105 set is for tanking/pvp. Level 125 set sucks imo and 130 set is alright but can't be pierced yet.
Now get some decent LGA's and or the new V18 Weap to combo with it for Atk speed if you want. But two LGA's are fine. They are pretty cheap nowadays even the ultimate ones.  At this rate you should be able to whack 50k+ using red scroll no problem. If you have decent LGA's and a nice set. You should be able to level quickly and hit master.
At 75 Master you can use Lusakas Crystal Axe. Pierce them and put fire cards in them so then they'll be better than the LGA. You'll have a high damage output now. From here on it's pretty self-explanatory. Go train your butt off. Make sure you have 75% crit or better and 100% atk speed while training. That should be enough to ensure you that you'll level in ease.
Awakes at this point
Helm-Str/Sta/Dex
Suit-Adoch/str
Glove-Crit
Boots-Adoch
Level 60-110 Train in Azria
Level 110-121 Train in Traseia
Level 121-130 Train in Traseia
130Aoe+ Grasslands/desert and back to Traseia when you're 146

Go full STR and 1v1!

You should be able to level fast like this and it takes hard work! Most people can afford good gear if they farm events and save their money. You don't need the best gear to level just decent! Blade gear is quite expensive, but the prices have dropped greatly. This isn't the perfect guide but it's a good idea. Guide may vary due to funding.

How to minimize lag

First off, lag can be based on your computer or the game itself. Sometimes it helps if you close your chat box because there are a lot of penya spammers. Or you can /ignore and their name to get rid of them for the time being. Make sure to turn all of your effects off and your video options to low. Also, when playing make sure you don't run too many programs or your CPU will exceed its limits. I usually run multiple Flyffs and Firefox at the same time. And most of the time it could just be the game itself that lags you. This usually happens when the server is overpopulated and there are too many people in one spot. Plus you can play in windows mode (800x600). This also helps a lot and you can alt+tab to another window quickly. You can also hold down ctrl and press F to see your FPS.It should show in light blue under your character box. The higher the better!
